South Africa V China. For me it was a disappointing match. The ball spent too much time in the air, bouncing around and without many decisive passes. With only four shots on target throughout the game.

No interest in soccer whatsoever here. Rather be surfing.

A very poor game between England and Argentina

I wouldn`t say very poor, but the ball was played too much in air, passing play was of mediocre accuracy, but you cannot say they both didn`t try. In fact, fighting part was too big to cost of less constructive playing.
Right team, England won 1-0, they dominated clearly the ball control. Argentina fought back without saving themselves.

Good points well made. I think the Argentinian goal keeper was excellent .

    Cameroon V Holand

Another great free flowing match with great skills from both teams. Some poor or immature defensive marking at times, one terrific goal by both teams.

I suspect that we are going to see France V USA in the final!

The West Indies aren't the team they used to be in the seventies.

I was amazed by England's team. There were moments, from what I watched, where they showed incredible skill and focus in front of Argentina's goal. They had what so many of these teams lacks, a "one mind" mentality, for lack of a better phrase. They were all on the same page.

Funny you should say that. I thought one of the forwards looked incredibly like Garfield Sobers and another who I'd swear was a twin sister of Clive Lloyd or was it Michael Holding? Can't remember at the moment.

Canada (Fleming from a pass by Prince after a great run) scored at the beginning of the second half. They totally dominated NZ, accurate passing, nice plays. NZ were just outplayed. Then Prince scored a great header off a pass by Sinclair).

I was bummed to miss that one.

Hard to say - reasonable? We’ll see when the competition heats up. Know that there is a very good chance that either US or France gets knocked out in the quarterfinals.

USA V Chilie . 34,000 spectators can't all be wrong. Another good free flowing game. More great individual skill demonstrated by individual players on both sides.

    Fantastic goalkeeper
