    I think you mean Chile!?

Anyway, the Chilean keeper kept it from being a total route.

That Chilean goalkeeper was amazing!! She apparently plays for PSG in France.
I think there were 45,600 in the stadium, but maybe I misheard.

You might be correct, but with your current weekness for chemical "medical" interventions, I'm not so sure :p.

You have a point. My kids will know - they were there and will be home soon.

You are absolutely correct! I kept thinking "they don't look Chinese", whatever the stereo typical women's football player from China looks like! Shame on my

I started watching at the 65th minute but the USA team still looks dominant.
Too bad Lloyd missed the PK wide left at the end.

Well, I was relieved in a way - sort of made up for the 2nd goal - scored off a corner that shouldn’t have been awarded...

One of my favorite moments was Press’s excellent volley that was stopped by a brilliant save by the Chilean goalie. Beautiful football!!

Nicely played, England. Japan just couldn't find the goal, and seemed lacking in oomph, esp the first half.

Unfortunately I missed the other match tonight (Arg-Scot), which sounds as if it were a real cracker! It was here in Paris, and I had tix, but wasn’t up to the slog there with my cast- saving myself for the 1/4 final (and maybe a round of 16 on Monday...). French tv didn’t show it.

The Scots hosed themselves - losing a 3 to nil advantage to end up in a 3-3 draw = pathetic.

Argentina will move on as a spoiler. <------ EDIT: nope.

Sweden was tough but the USA is relentless and smart.

Rose Lavelle for the US has a crazy "I will cut you" kinda glint in her eye.

It terrifies and fascinates me equally.

The goal by Heath (USA) vs Sweden was AMAZING.
