Missed that one...
Your exactly right. That's what a great many English teams lack.
I'll stop posting the results! There's nothing worse than knowing the results before you can get to see the match
Ah..its good to see the women's game is nice and 'touchy-feely'..
Im not too worried about Brazil, its typical for them....beat up on the nobodies early on and then collapse in a whirlwind of dirty play against the better teams. Men or women, same thing different day. I'm still a bit amazed by the Italy/Australia match yesterday...did not see that coming.
Time alone will tell. Good luck to your own team of choice
Massonienne sensured by the FIFA! Do they understand who she is? The Stratcastinstor Extrodinere , Senior Head of the Royal Order of Authority, Much revered Staff Member of the Glorious ST Forum, She who must be obeyed.
What is the world outside the forum coming to?
Watched the England v Scotland match yesterday. It is the first women's match that I have watched through. I really enjoyed it. Less predictable than the men's senior game. Probably because there are still tactical and technical errors being made that provides for more excitement.
I was also a bit surprised by the Scottish team....... and relieved. I expected them to get a real going over.
Just saw Argentina-Japan - took my son and his friend. A disappointing 0-0... the Argentinians did spend a fair amount of time on the ground...I didn’t get a close enough look at the fouls to know whether that was warranted.
Yes sorry I think it’s only available in France. Maybe there’s a FIFA TV channel for each country?
Decent start for Canada today. Looking forward to seeing them in a tougher match up!
I was just watching the highlights and saw a Argentina player take out her teammate.
ha........... can't embed the vid. Oh well.
They should've awarded the US a penalty shot for that 45th minute foul in the penalty box, or at least a free kick. That was ridiculous, including the foul on Rapinoe just before that.
I saw an angle that looked to me like the Thai player got the ball before the contact with the US player. I've been reffing soccer for almost 30 years, and don't find it ridiculous...
That said, the US are beating Thailand like a drum. It's almost embarrassing...
Wow, USA 10 to zip and it aint over yet.
Personally, I do not like the excessive celebrating the US are doing with each successive goal (and this is MY team). I rather believe in karma and don't care for where this is going...
I have cautioned players on teams for doing this (when up by more than three goals), because I know from experience (both playing and refereeing) that it is not unlikely that players on the down team will start trying to break legs. At least, that's the way it goes in the men's game...
USA is crushing. Letting up would be disrespectful so...let it rip.
I'm supporting Thailand in tonight's game against the USA. I know that you are a supporter of the US team, but I'm confident that Thailand will come out winners of this match.
I just want to ask that our new friendship will not be soured by my support of an opposing team?
