I took my FSR Sunfire Orange Strat to a luthier in June to have the original trem holes plugged and then new holes drilled for my Wilkinson 5+1 trem. It works great and stays in tune perfectly and has really rekindled my love for the guitar. As a final little bit of bling, I treated her to a change I've been considering for months - I changed the locking tuner buttons to a set of genuine Schaller pearloid buttons and have to say I love the result! I'm totally happy with this guitar now and she's definitely a keeper!

    "genuine Schaller pearloid buttons"

My immediate thought was NO. But seeing them on that guitar and I was totally wrong. They look great. Looks like it really came together to be an awesome guitar. Very nice!!

Thanks guys, really love this guitar. I've not done an awful lot to it:

    • Fender locking tuners
    • Fender USA string tree
    • GraphTech XL nut
    • Wilkinson trem
    • And now the pearloid buttons

Thanks, I love the sparkle finish - shame the lighting's not great in the room, it really pops under decent lighting!

I thought the same - I've been considering it and dismissing it on and off for 18 months or so! Finally decided to bite the bullet and it looks way better than I'd hoped!
