I've said a prayer for you brother and I'll continue to pray for ya; take this time to rest and regain your strength.

Glad you went to the ER.

    No, that's probably not a good idea. . .

I was at work in april 2019, felt rough, chest pain, arm pain, jaw pain, took a cab to the hospital - and yup, i'd had a Myocardial infarction. So i know how you're feeling, i suspect - confused, scared, depressed, etc.

Here's some advice, even if you don't want it.

#1 - don't even think of trying to get back to 'normal' for a while. you're gonna be weak, and no matter how much you thnk you can brush this off, you can't. I was in good shape before mine, and afterwards (4 days in Cardiac ICU and a stent) i was weak as a kitten. My mrs had to insist i did .. nothing. I'm not very good at sitting around, but it's 100% vital. The more you listen to what they tell you, the longer you're likely to last. You'll need to build strength, but slowly. Took me 6 months before i could even begin to get back in shape.
KEep an eye on your weight - (1) it's an indicator that something ain't right (as you've found ) and (2) it's easy to put LBS on if you're not moving much, and that's really not very good for you either.
Relax - if you need to see someone to prescribe something to keep you calm , do it . it's not for good, but it really can help day to day when you drop into that existential crisis mode.

    Stay cool

    Mike

Glad you are stabilised and for goodness sake give up the smokes.

All the best for a speedy recovery mate and for any surgery you may need in the future.

i'm so sorry you're going through this, Kelly, but glad you're getting taken care of.
Please look after yourself. So many need you: your grandma, the Kevins, rock'n'roll, and a bunch of degenerate guitar players scattered throughout the world just to name a few ...

Kelly hang in there. And be patient. And don't hang around here if you need rest for f****'s sake! ;)

PS: having gone through a rather severe asthma attack, I know that breathing failure is not fun at ALL. I was a smoker before, I am no longer a smoker after that (7 years after, that is). Stopped clean. Do the same… it's not a sacrifice: life's BETTER for it!
