Finally Built My Al Jardine

    I will start off by saying That Al is not the Greatest Strat player I have ever seen - though he has played Great in every aspect that the Beach Boys required.
    But I will say That Al and his White Strat was the first Strat I ever laid my Eyes on - And it was Love at first sight.
    Mine is a Total Partscaster with some Fender parts. But its as close to a actual early 60's Strat that I will ever get.

    Killer guitar!!! I’m in the same boat as you are when it comes to having been inspired by Al Jardine and The Beach Boys. I love Olympic White with that dark rosewood fingerboard. Thanks for sharing!!

    @Gasee Nice looking strat looks like a pre CBS strat when it was brand new , whats your parts list for the build please?

    A GFS Polar white body
    A no name 60's style tinted Rosewood neck
    Fender Classic 60's Pickguard and Pickups.
    A Ping Trem - which I have locked down
    Kluson copy Split Tuners - I installed Real Kluson's first - But they where really bad.
    Fender F Plate - not correct for the year I was going for - 63'
    old style Fender strap knobs
    Fender String tree
    I attached a 3/4 piece Leather Trem cover to the back for easy string access
    Fender Ashtray Cover

    Nothing wrong with a Partscaster. From what I've heard about them they have six strings and can play music! ;D
