After months and months of eating healthy, watching the calories which resulted in a great blood test and everything else, I’m gonna have.......another bacon cheeseburger for dinner. Inhaled one for lunch already. The Lean Quisine scheduled for tonight’s meal will just have to wait. What a wild man I am.
Man has to do what a man has to do. ENJOY that cheeseburger. One of life's simple pleasures. ENJOY!!!
I know the feeling well.....I go through the same thing but sometimes enjoying life is the top priority and I try to not let it bother me too much and move on..........that’s about as wild as I get these days as well......lol!
I try to eat healthy but the technique often evades me. That said if I can't have a cheesburger with grilled onions, some frings, and a cold beer at least once a month I become homicidal.
There's nothing wrong with having a cheeseburger once in a while. Especially with all the Covid-related stuff going on.
A few years back, a friend lost 20 lbs on the Adkins diet. She told me one day she just snapped, and ate a whole loaf of bread... I tend to do better on diet schemes that stress moderation vs. elimination.
Have an extra rounded teaspoon of fiber after each burger. Two if they're really greasy. At least a good amount of the grease will get absorbed by it and won't make it into your system.
I did the same thing but with Nash's chicken..fries and mac-cheese. Trying to eat healthy all the time deserves a break every now and then. Level 4 heat made my hair wet with sweat and I now need a nap. Comfort food rocks!!
110 LBs? Damn, that's a lot. Well done you! I dropped 15kg over 18 months, but have added 4 back, which is annoying the hell out of me - covid lockdown and WFH near the fridge hasn't helped. I'm vegetarian, so no burgers and steaks to cut out!!! Good job it's summer and i can get on the bike every day. . . currently at 78 KG, aiming for 75 by April...
