Just recieved something that relieves these old eyes of mine.
Rechargeable eyeglasses bracket with interchangeable magnifier lenses.
So tired of dialing in 64ths" when setting up my guitars. Especially at night with ordinary light sources.
So...got this new gizmo from Amazon that has like 5 different lenses and a 2 stage light that helps me dial in those pesky 64ths"! No batteries!
    Heaven...I'm in heaven.
Yeah...beats reading glasses to da curb.

It's easier just to not measure stuff.

Yeah, I use a visor with interchangeable lenses and a light on it. I'm already in bifocals. If I'm in a hurry I use a radius gauge under the strings and adjust the height of the strings to the top of it, you only measure the height of the middle two strings, then slip the gauge under.

Nice find as those 64’s are getting smaller with each setup.

Seriously, what's this 64 stuff you're talking about?

P.S. Don't mock me, I think in Meters and Centimeters.

Years ago went to patent an idea of a tool that measured small increments but in a handy size. Like a digital thermometer with a large display. It could measure distances optically and read out imperial, decimal and metric.
Moved and never followed up on it.
Wonder how long intellectual property lasts?;)
Would've made set ups a breeze!
Oh well...Stew-Macs handy set up tool and (new) magnifier led lighted glasses will have to do.:thumb::cool:

Here's the cover of the box.
It looks heavy, but it isn't. The led light is 2stage; bright and brighter.
    5 different lenses.
    Works better than imagined.
Very clear and... helps these older eyes!:thumb::cool:
The name of the manufacturer is Yoctosun V2.0 and was about $20.00 from Amazon.
And yes...I look like a geek with (or without) them on
