The material is really hard. An ordinary cutter won’t survive. I didn’t know that before hand lol

That's crazy. It was free shipping within the U.S. They could easily be sent in a letter for less than a $2. Sorry Buddy.

Don't worry mate, thank you for your help, I appreciate it :)

I will find a place her to laser cut the sheets. I need to find a template for them. I'll share some picks with fellow members :)

Disassemble the cutter and whack the actual cutter part with a hammer...

I thought of it. I have two sheets, 0.062” and 0.093” thickness.

And welcome back Mr Bit ;)

Or you can cut it with a fine toothed coping saw and files to shape it. I've made made special switch plates for the model railway that way before.

Hey man, living in Turkey, I know how difficult it can be to get some things. I call upon people coming over to bring lots of small stuff I couldn't get otherwise.
You should see the shopping list for this visit!

Have you tried https://www.shopandship.com/en/home ? I used to buy a lot of things from the US and have them shipped to me in Jeddah when I used to live there. I guess they offer this service there in Turkey.

I can't use a service. The Turkish government allows mafia-style customs regulations. Things get very heavily (and randomly) taxed based on whatever the agent of the moment feels the value to be. I had a small package shipped from my brother a few months ago of used things I already owned- value maybe $300. It was recorded as a gift and I still had to pay over 500 TL (about $100) in customs taxes. It's a serious racket, so I try to avoid it if possible.
