Loved simple fried rice, and Lo Mein - when I could eat it. Since eating became passé, I have a thing for Hot & Sour soup...

Now? Portland decided that adding sodium hydroxide (caustic soda -- lye) to the water supply was the trendy solution to not bothering with maintaining the system, and the resulting failures. Worse ... lead leaching into it because maintenance is for chumps.

Thus, stuff like soups pretty much suck. Spouse says French bread and fried rice and Lo Mein suck now too.
