It’s June, and we’re starting to see some nicer weather! I take this as an opportunity to take some nice shots of my guitars in the backyard. Anyone else take nice pictures of their instruments outdoors? Please post them. With nicer weather moving in, I think we all should!

(Still waiting on my neck so no strat pictures yet)

Congratulations on the nice weather and great pictures, not a chance of reciprocating in the British Weather at the moment as we are somewhat waterlogged.:(

I’m sorry to hear that! I understand what you mean though. Here in Oklahoma we just went through about a month straight of rain and tornadoes. Quiet a bit of the north eastern part of the state was under water. Lots of damage

I’m not generally a fan of pearloid pickguards but really like that rig with the racing stripe. Very cool looking guitar.

My favorite shot of my Les Paul:

I sold my camera so I am currently camera-less so the new Strat will have to wait.

My current top of the heap, feels like butter when I play, guitar.

Fender Highway One in transparent nitro red, Feiten quarter-sawn maple neck with rosewood fretboard, CM Daughtery ‘59 Reissue pickups.

And next, my MJT tele in nitro metallic tangerine also with a Feiten quarter-sawn maple neck and a Seymour Duncan “Gilly” stacked bridge pickup and Frailin Blues Special uncovered neck pickup. Not exactly a traditional twangy tele but I got one of those already...

Haha. Cool that. But it’s not orange! It’s metallic tangerine!

Actually before I saw my MJT in MT I never thought I’d want an orange body guitar. When I saw the photo before I saw the name I saw it more as a metallic reddish-gold and from that perspective it appealed to me big time. The slight relic’ing MJT did on it dials it in for me big time. I don’t think I’d like it as much if it was perfect and pristine.
