I'm looking for a two/three tone sunburst custom shop strat with a maple neck, for what it's worth. Any suggestions where I can find one for a decent price? £3,000 budget, give or take.

Denmark Street is the best area to look for quality guitars. It’s an area that has been famous for many years and is well worth a visit. It’s central London, so a taxi from Oxford Circus, for example, will be comparatively inexpensive if you are interested in seeing some of the Central London “attractions”.

GuitarGuitar, 16 Delancy Street, Camden Town, NW1. You can check their stock online before you visit.

Nope, most shops have new stuff, only a couple are purely vintage ;)

it won't take you a that long to do them all in Denmark Str. They seem to be dying off and replaced slowly by the usual, eateries and bars and hairdressers etc...the whole str currently is a building site.
My fav in Denmark Str is NO.TOM.
And a little further down Charing Cross rd is Macaris.
    Have fun

I remember noodling on that Tangerine Strat in the shop. I loved the weigh of it!

A little further out of London is GuitarGuitar Epsom. The largest guitar shop in the UK.

Look out for 'Fat Ricks guitar emporium'. Sorry I don't know the address but it's in or around Demark street. Easily the best name for a guitar shop ever.

I'm going into town this lunchtime (Apple Store in Regent Street) so I'll pop across to Denmark Street and see what is left of it - and report back.
