good luthier in chicago area???

    hey my friend who recently moverd to chicago is in need of a good luthier. cracked the headstock on one of his guitars and the low e tuner is hanging by a thread. please if anyone from the chi town area knows of someone itd be a great help. thanks guys.

    I used this shop in Lisle when I lived in the area. They did good work and were reasonable with their prices too.

    MODERN MUSIC

    There is also Chicago Music Exchange on Lincoln Avenue in Chicago. They might be a bit pricey though.

    Yes, yes it is.

    We do repairs at my studio/store, but I wouldn't recommend us, Lol. Though we are stupidly inexpensive. I do pretty good work and lots of setup work, but we're not really geared towards repairs, it's more that people come in and I end up fixing stuff because I'm bored and the only one there who knows anything about fixing things. :)

    A broken headstock is just cleanup, glue, cleanup and clamp through right? Is it an LP by any chance?
