Good recording program besids pro tools?

    hey guys. just wonderin if theres a good cheap/free program i can DL to my PC just to record practice tracks to solo over and simple stuff like that. thanx for any input!

    Audacity is better then 90% of programs you pay for. I have gone through a LOT of programs, freeware and non, Audacity still trumps them (Considering it also has a free MP3 Converter for your tracks when your done)
