look at Harmonic Designs. they have a Vintage+ strat pup based on a P90, and a super hot bridge pup that pretty much IS a P90 for the bridge position called the Super 90.
Scott winds a great pup. I have his Vintage+ in my Tele and I can do Funk, Rock, Metal, Blues, whatever and they take distortion EXTREMELY well

I have my self a set of Dimarzio Area 61 (Neck & Middle) and a Dimarzio Heavy Blues 2 (Bridge), i can say this are the best single coil sized humbuckers i have tested, they sound true and are kinda hotter than a stock single coil... great for Texas Blues things, Rock and Roll and even some Heavy Metal.

If your whant a little more overwound push on the bridge pickup you cant go wrong with this choises..

    1. Dimarzio Heavy Blues 2 (Hot single coil tone)
    2. Dimarzio Virtual Solo (Very hot single coil sound)
    3. Dimarzio Fast Track 1 (Very hot single coil sound with rails)
    4. Dimarzio Chopper (Medium power humbucker tone)
    5. Dimarzio Pro Track (Vintage PAF sound)

Check out Dimarzio's DP189 Tone Zone S - Fantastic humbucker for rock, blues and pop and but also sounds just like a Strat single coil should when coil tapped.

If you're keeping the other 2 Am Std single coils, you'll need a bridge pup that works well with 250k pots. I'd go for a SD SSL-5.

I forgot that he only wanted to change the bridge pickup... if you make the change for a humbucking single coil sized bridge pickup while keeping 2 single coils you must be aware that you must change your 5 way switch wiring quite more than normal, so its not going to to be just that easy.

If you dont whant to mess up with that its bether to stick with a hot single coil pickup instead, so i would give a shot to one of these:

    1. Dimarzio Red Velvet
    2. Seymour Duncan SSL-5
    3. Seymour Duncan SSL-3
