Do you prefer suggestions for clip on, or a pedal?

I've used the Boss pedal tuner. I forget the model #... Used one for years & years. Works perfect everytime. Very accurate and reliable. I highly recommend it.

Man, the KORG tuner is super-fast, stable & accurate. Best keep your eye on his baby if you get one, as people will want to take it home with them after using it !!!

Peterson has some nice tuners. Stomp Classic for the pedal board and AutoStrobe 490 for back stage or on the bench.

I've been getting great results from the Boss clip on tuner - TU 10. It seems very sensitive and consistent and I have used it for intonation. Better than my TU2 pedal tuner (the latest Boss pedal is a TU3)

But usually for set up, I go into my pc sound card and use an old free app called GTune

Turbo Tuner is the most accurate tuner you'll find.

When buying a tuner, the accuracy is measured in cents- the lower that number, the more accurate it is.

Old Boss TU-2 has served faithfully and flawlessly on my board for years. Hear good things about the TU-3 also.

Sorry if you had problems. I don't appreciate your rude comments.

I have an old version, as I stated. Its actually from 2004 and causes me no problem at all. If I had had any such issues I would not have mentioned it. Nor did I advise anyone to download it, I just stated what I do.

EDIT - I see that there is GTune and there is G-Tune. Two different things. I'm actually using G-Tune 2.5 from JHC-software. Its discontinued but still available. I just reinstalled it on my recent Win8.1 pc, it works fine. As an unregistered version, it switches off after a few minutes, but there's time enough to use it and its very sensitive. I use it by plugging in via the soundcard line-in. Mic-in would probably also work.

    At your own risk.
