I got a P bass Vintera on GC on sale , for 750,00 , only because of the 1 3/4 wide nut , and so far I like it ,much more the skinny neck of my Jazz Bass , it favors my large fingers , a lot .
I am wondering what else fender does or did on the past that also comes with 1 3/4 neck ? in case I want to get a PJ maybe MIA .

I also found a Lakland used for 999.00 bur , I wanted a maple fretboard , and the black is not very exciting .

It’s a looker. Enjoy. You can find a PJ configuration with either a P bass neck or a jazz neck. The American Performer that comes to mind has a 3/4 neck.

You can also look to G&L for models with a 1.75" nut width. In fact they typically offer that neck on any US built bass they make. That's another advantage G&L has over Fender.

Nice bass!! I too love the wider 1.75 nut. That’s what finally got my hands on a 1960 reissue pbass.

The only production fender bass I can think of off the top of my head with a 1.75 nut width is the late 50’s and 60’s reissue pbass. I think a few artist models have the wider nut. Even the early 50’s reissues had a wide nut at 1.7”

I saw that somewhere that the American performer have 1 3/4 but it is not , it is the regular 1.62 , I don’t remember where I saw that , I drove all the way to another store , arriving there I was desapointed

Added a fill blings on it , I added the Thumb Rocker , I found on eBay , nice little cheap gadget , makes very comfortable , and some fender tape wound strings , it became so good , and sounds amazing

I hope you didn’t drive solely on my faulty memory. If you did I do apologize.
