    Hey!

I asked for a lot of advice here before buying my first Fender strat. Thanks to everyone for the help!

I ended up choosing the Player series Stratocaster with HSS pickups and the maple neck. Tidepool is very close to my favourite color that I had way before I was even looking for the guitar. And it's even nicer in person! It really takes on a different color in every lighting situation, which is very cool in my opinion.

On the photo I had my tremolo set in the floating position, but whenever I would press down on the trem bar, it would stay in a lower position. Also pulling up would leave it at a higher angle. So basically, it wouldn't reset properly, making tuning quite a nuisance. I ended up decking it recently. The string tension actually feels more firm when decked, which I found quite surprising!

Anyways, I'll be hanging out in the forums, and if I get any more Strat-related questions, I'll know where to ask them.

    Thanks! PSX_20200611_193245.jpg

Forgot to mention some special details I found on my guitar.
First off, there's some bird's eye figuring on the maple neck and fretboard in various spots. I quite like that it doesn't look completely plain.
And second, the serial number ends with 666!

HNGD! I have the SSS version in the same color. I enjoy it a lot. No problems here with the tremolo though it is pretty sensitive.

    That is very nice!
The Player series are very nice. I also own one.
For the trem hang up, look to the nut. The strings are probably binding up there in the slots.

Just curious...as I won't have a Strat without a trem...could it be that some break-in playing time could improve the tuning issue?
