Got both of mine in April. The last member of our band to get vaccinated reaches full immunity on Monday. First rehearsal since February coming up on Thursday!

I'm on number 1 of moderna, and the second shot will be in about three weeks.

Didn't even feel the needle, but my arm hurt a bit after 2 days.

My wife has done both, but she had a fever after the second shot that lasted a day or two.

Now, I'm waiting for the green pass that will allow travel (in Europe at least).

Just happened to have my second one yesterday too. Zero side effects this time; I had a very brief chill about 12 hours after with the first one, that went after I took some paracetamol.

My wife had more side effects with the first one, but she also had Covid quite badly last March, whereas I was asymptomatic. I wonder if there is any connection to how you respond to side effects and whether you are asymptomatic.

Just starting rehearsals with the band again, but been going to a college class for 6 weeks or so as it's classed as 'educational'. I've been working on hospital equipment right through the whole pandemic, with initially very little in the way of PPE, so I'm thankful I wasn't affected by Covid like my wife, but also glad that I've now had both vaccinations now.

We are truly fortunate to live in the modern world. We got our second shots a few weeks back. I feel such relief. I hope the vaccine becomes available to more parts of the world soon. So many have lost life already.

Got my first covid test today...yea!! The nasal deep clean...I'm so lucky. I told the nurse that it was my first time and asked her to be gentle. She giggled. Thought I was being cute.
Spouse wasn't amused...she spent her career in hospitals and apparently believed some of the stories. That, and she knew the nurse so maybe there was some truth to the stories. Or...

    I decided not to ask.

    Ignorance is bliss.

(Getting prepped for ' let's have fun with surgeons' later this summer.

    ETA:
Took the JJ 'one and done' in March. I like their tubes so I figured their shot would be a good fit...:thumb:
