She’s adorable. I’m sure the boys are gonna be chasing after her, if they already aren’t.
Probably. She's out in the mid-west, so I'm not on FULL alert. Plus her Mom and her Dad (6'5" 230+) will watch over her!
You are a good man, and she is a lucky little girl! The guitar is amazing, but most importantly, grandpa is great!
Wow..6’5, 230?? That’s a big man. I wouldn’t wanna meet him in a dark alley.
Jack White would probably love it, though. What is hip?
Hip then was Warlocks and pointy super strats.
At the time, I'd fancied a solid body tho (at 11 no less LOL) Was still under the spell with that Rocket tho!
The guitar that replaced that when I was 17 was a '74-5 Olympic white Thinline Telecater...(which was funky enough to be "hip" in the early Grunge era when I had it.
In retrospect, they were both VERY cool guitars.
That look fantastic!!!! Great!!!!
LOL..He'd be hard to handle if he lost his temper...and messing with his beloved kids would bring that out. Otherwise he's a very kind and gentle man.
Thanks Bro. But sincerely, I'm the one who's blessed! They are great kids and my wife and I are thankful in every way for them!!
My Daughter texts me last evening- I'd just completed setting up for our band rehearsal and was chillin' a bit before everyone's arrival.
"Dad! I had to ground Bri from playing the guitar! She didn't do her chores, didn't take Bailey out for the evening walk (Bailey is Bri's VERY sweet doggie) and she does NOTHING but play that guitar!"
Concerned, I replied "Does she sound any good..?" Followed up with a "wink" emoticon and a follow up text "Do you want me to speak with her Honey?"
Daughter writes "No; she said she'd do better" and that she didn't want anything to interfere with her good standing in the family...
TELL ME this stuff ain't in our very DNA!
She is absolutely adorable! Getting the "rocker" stance down, too! LOL!
Thanks for posting!
Reminds me of some of the lyrics to this
Wow! Happy new guitar day Bri, and Bravo grandpa. You couldn’t have chosen better, they look perfect together. See the way the gold matches the highlights in her hair? Perfect.
Thanks. FYI the picture was not staged - she donned the Strat herself. It was in one of my many ubiquitous stands scattered around my house and just walked out adorned as such. Flipped me out!
She has first dibs on it and every other guitar I have even though she has two younger brothers.
Beautiful guitar. Absolutely live the color.
That's too cute. Next time, you gotta text back "Then everything is all right."
And by her promising to do better, Bri means play louder, obv.
How on earth did she don it. Or move in it?
Very cool...may it inspire her to create some great music that the world will enjoy!!
What an AWESOME guitar
Keep on rocking!!
