I'm not sure who you are insulting the most there, us or them.

No, i reckon we should send it off to an island far, far away. I believe there is a precedent for that.:whistling:

I doubt that the Americans would want it, we have enough of our own ...

We've had a quick shout around and decided to call the sludge a criminal. ergo, we can now tranport it (along with the loaf of bread it stole) right on back to the mother country. Well sweeten the deal with a couple of barrels of rum.

We could use it to make some special cricket pitches for the Ashes, we'll buy the beer, but you'll have to bring your own sandpaper...

Given Australia’s strict laws, on issues surrounding their Environment Protection Act, I would be very surprised if these activists managed to circumvent the law. Based on that assumption, I can only imagine that the substance being dumped isn’t going to have any negative impact on the reef. I note that environmentalists say that if the waste is dumped in the deepest part of the reef, the risk of damage will be minimal.

It difficult to know if this type of reporting is just sensational press looking for a news story. I have no idea, but would hope that the Australian Government will do everything possible to protect one of its biggest natural resources.

You are an island far, far away :D. You should get the “convict imports” to spread it around the place and plant a few flowers. :p

Yes, the Earth is very resilient , but there's gonna come a day when we realize that we screwed ourselves. And I think that day will be comin' 'round sooner than later.

I’m assuming, or had been, that you live in Yorkshire. It sounds like I might be wrong.:thumbd:

Well that little island you live on is so overcrowded, it's not as if there's any room in the middle, is there?
