I'm in! I like my Greco guitars

'76 SE 600 Super Sounds - doesn't get played a lot as it is mint...

'81 SE600 Super Sound Jeff Beck model

'81 SE500 Spacey Sound Jeff Beck model - very 50's Strat sounding and one of my favourites to play:)

    very nice!
You need to try a Greco Tele or LP as well!

Of course you are right! I have tried a few of their LPs but I am just not an LP guy. I think what it is is that I prefer the 25 1/2 scale length.
Greco Teles on the other hand are great - I just need to find one at the money I want to pay for it! And their are so many other choices... I think I'd buy a GIO or Tusk before a Tele if the opportunity came up

I had a few old Tokais that were excellent, but also many that were only good..
While maybe not 100% as good as the best Tokais I had, the Grecos seem to be more consitent to me...

My recently acquired April 1982 Greco Super Sound SE 600. Looks to be all original with coil tap pickups, brass nut and saddles, push/pull tone and volume, rosewood neck and alder body. One of the last Greco strats made. Probably on a Friday afternoon.[IMG]

I just became a member! She arrived last night. A 1976 Super Sounds SE600B. Her looks are nothing special but she has plenty of personality when played.

I had to replace the claw and jack wires on mine last weekend and took some photos while under the hood.
It's a poly finish with 12 radius maple neck. Sounds/feels great now but I couldn't get along with XL strings on it. The tension was not for me. I restrung it with R.Cocco 9.5s.
I like the red in the sunburst preserved under the guard.

Greco is my favorite brand for vintage MIJ as they made so many great guitars.

Here's one of mine that's not too well known '78 SA800 ES-345 copy.

    Built for the blues...
