It is a Warmoth swamp ash body in transparent green with a Schaller 475 bridge. I believe it has the 720 neck pocket mod. The M22SD Carvin pickup is direct mounted. Just a volume knob. There is one paint chip on the body contour.

The roasted maple neck is from USACG. Rosewood board. It has 6105 SS frets and the nut is 1 11/16". It has Schaller locking tuners.

    Is $600 shipped too much?

It looks pretty dark in that photo. I imagine there's some wood grain showing with transparent green on ash, but I don't see that in the photo. From that photo, it looks more like some kind of metallic green.

I think $600 may we way overly optimistic. Most partscasters sell in the $400-$500 range, mostly because of the limited pool of buyers that might share the assembler's preferences. Most fetch more parted out than as a whole.

In this case, several features include the 720 pocket and rear route probably don't help, as it's less easily modifiable by a potential purchaser.

Ya, that one is a tough call.
That's all quality parts, but it's only worth a bunch to someone looking for pretty much exactly that.

The thing about this is, when someone goes to buy a stock Fender or a stock Gibson, etc., are they looking for exactly that combination of parts? Often, I think people select a guitar because it's a good guitar overall rather than looking for specific components. If you select a guitar by going into a guitar store and trying a few, someone's partscaster should be no different.

If I’m in a guitar store looking to spend money I know what I’m looking for. I don’t think there’s many people out there that just grabs whatever, maybe there is.

What is being said about this one is that it’s very specific to a certain buyer. That’s what makes it a hard sell. I’d probably rip this one all day long but that’s just me.

I like the guitar, just not at 6-hundy. I’d say you’re a bit high.;)

    +1

I'd actually love try playing it. It's certainly not like any of my others and I'd be curious. Wouldn't mind seeing that color IRL either. It looks different on my laptop than on the monitor next to it, and totally different from either of the OP's pix.

It's really so hard to guage a color any other way, unless it's a standard shade. And even some of those are hard to show well, (Candy Cola being one.)

    What about this one?

Warmoth mahogany body with blue flame maple top and "natural binding". Gotoh bridge and tail piece.

Warmoth canary wood neck with ebony board. Hipshot tuners.

Normally I'd say we don't comment on a seller's price, but you asked.

Those are both really nice looking guitars, but as noted you're going to have to find someone who thinks those exact specs are worth it. I'd keep them and play them!

With strats, especially parts guitars, you are almost certain to get the most money selling the parts instead of the guitar.

What is the scale length on that? Also, what is the neck pocket like (aka would the neck fit a standard strat neck pocket)?
