Hi, I am arnold smit from maastricht, netherlands My collection of 70s strats is growing and i just got a very nice antigua rosewood 79 strat. Together with my 75 and 70 it realy fits in. Also note my dragon strat wich i play for 20 years. I custom build it ands its a one of a kind.
Hey, welcom A nice part of the world you live in! I have a old friend in Bunde that I have to visit, as well as those amazing coffee shops in Maastricht
Here a nice pic of my 75 olympic white strat It looks very reliced and sounds great. I installed a deusenberg bender but decided that i will replace the original bridge again It also needs e fretjob because the originals are realley worn played. Maybe the jumbo frets i have on my vintage green strat. The strat is very light(about 3 kg) and i like it very much. The green strat is my main guitar,i play it all the time. The pick ups on this one are kinman marvin fat models and it has Graph tech saddles. When the white strat will come back from the fret job i think it will compete with the green strat. I recently brought a 1979 antigua strat wich is all original wth a rosewood neck In my opninion this is the most ugly one,but so ugly that i like it Check these out Greetings from maastricht, holland
The anniversairy was in a storage room wich was flooded under water were it was for two years. After finding it i got it and left it to dry for six years. Last december we put it together and the only parts wich survived were the body, the neck and scratchplate. The rest is replaced. Its not original but a great sounding and feeling player
