    Once it reaches a certain point it looks dumb. Once it passes dumb, it looks ridiculous. Once it passes ridiculous and the guitar gets destroyed, it looks and sounds vile

    Yes, you are correct, but I think some of the other posts refer to pushing the body away from the neck.

    People should play the way they want. Why anyone cares what someone looks like while they’re playing is beyond me. If it sounds good, that’s all that matters.

    Why would I care if slash playing with his Les Paul down at his knees or if Tom Morello plays his guitar up by his nips affecting the dynamics of their playing? If it sounds good, it’s good.

    Wanna try a technique? Try it on your own guitar and see if it works for you.
