That DC junior FAT says in stock on the HB site but Thomann says 4-5 weeks. Darn tempting at $299 all in.

And the stacked Rosewell pickup with coil split looks interesting (knowing what the P90 sounds like), trigger finger is getting very itchy:eek:

Ebony board too, big plus for me. If I could sell my ebony strat neck I'd probably jump.

    He's right you know.

If you know how to play your instrument that well a $200 one can sound just as good as $2000 one and that has been proven so many times it really doesn't deserve further debate.

That was not at all the point of my comment.

At issue was how the comment "good for those who don't take playing seriously" was interpreted and my initial take was much like yours. This was also posted before I had read where the member clarified his meaning.

Sometimes the problem with forum debates is they don't take place in real time as a face to face discussion would. In this case I lacked all of the previous info so mea culpa. But my comment about price not being a factor in many cases still stands if only because it's the truth and quite separate from your point. It's simply my point. :D

These guitars look and sound amazing right out of the box.

    Really tempted here myself.

I’m just curious about how you find the fretboard radius? According to HB, it’s almost 14” radius. That’s a pretty flat board. In the video from EytschPi42, they seem to find it quite unfamiliar. I don’t mind a flat board myself and don’t really notice much difference between 9.5” & 12” as long as the neck itself is nice.

Hmm. That's what the site says but I haven't noticed it being particularly flat. I'll have to check it.

If you've played Yamaha Pacificas they are as flat

So for reference compare to something like that.

My Harley Benton ST-20. Waiting for parts to convert it to a metal guitar with dual alnico 5 humbuckers, 3 way switch and coil splitting. Should be a monster superstrat.

Greetings @Keith__adams! Welcome to Strat-Talk. It's been a long time since I was last on Malta, and walked down Valletta's Republic Street. :) Good luck with your custom superstrat!

Recently bought the HB DC FAT, just waiting for some control knobs from China to give it a workout, couple of niggley issues which need sorting but initial thoughts are it's as good as the SC with more grunt with the push/pull stacked Rosewell humbucker, we shall see.
