    Coming in June-July:

I would very much like one of these.

Pro Series Specs (from YT comment):
    - for now superstrats only (think RG -ish)
    - ebony, maple and baked maple boards
    - stainless steel frets! (medium jumbo)
    - floyd rose 1000 series or wilkinson tremolo
    - locking tuners
    - spokewheel trc adjustment at the base of the neck
    - roswell pickups in HH or HSH configs
    - actual maple tops with flamed/quilted veneers
    - 5 way with separate coilsplit switch
    - new logo
    - possibly flame maple necks (at upcharge)
    - priced at around 400€

If this punches as much above its price tag as their other stuff it will be pretty exciting, considering it's almost twice as expensive as their current top of the line electric.

He is highly endearing, I actually subscribe to his channel.

"Neck is nice, pickups are nice - really nice!"

How big is the chap? The guitar looks like a 3/4 size. I'm seriously considering buying an HB this year.

That neck and fret board are things of beauty. I will do my best to forget this thread now.

I'm very happy with both my HB instruments although I initially had some minor issues with the guitar.

I liked the CST very much, but certain restrictions laid down by Mrs Bit mean that I need a solid body, so I'm thinking either a **** or a *** **** type of thing. :D I've got to get something inexpensive to play, while I sort out getting the #1 beastie refretted...

I've heard good things about both of those types. The TE-52 is supposed to be great and it's not even close to the top of their price range.

I've been drewling over this: https://m.thomann.de/se/harley_benton_bz_4000_nt.htm?o=2&search=1521732764

Too noisy acoustically would be my guess?

She can hear them. I can only play my mandolin when she's not in, because walls and doors don't stop the little bugger, she says it melts paint at 20 yards... :p

I was going to buy one in January, £120 delivered, but they were out of stock until the end of last month. By the middle of next month, once I know the level of the extortion levied by the local council for the year , I should be able to buy myself a late birthday present.

The CST-24 Semi hollow is marginally louder than my strat. The center block is pretty massive. You should factor in a new bridge should you buy one, as the stock one tends to tilt forward which creates a citar like sound.

The TE-52s are often very heavy, from what I have read. Other than that they are meant to be very good indeed.

I play sitting down, so provided I can lift it off the stand I'll be ok, I can just about manage to pick up the Strats in their cases.
