15125421770871327393789.jpg I got a guitar in a trade today. It is an S type with Frankencaster Custom made in the lab on the headstock. It is printed on...not a waterslide. Can find absolutely nothing online.

Don't hold it too close to your junk. It might cop a feel.

Stratocasters put together by different parts are often referred to as Francencasters. My guess is that someone built it out of parts and painted that on the headstock. Looks like a cool guitar. More pics?

"Original custom made in the lab" might be a clue.

Over the years I've seen lots of different home made Frankencasters and with others with more amusing names on the headstock. I fancy putting this on mine

It's a home made decal to describe accurately the origins of the guitar. Many people consider that more morally acceptable than putting a Fender decal on a guitar that isn't a Fender.

I googled ‘frankencaster’ and I found it rather quickly, it’s either an Etsy or a Reverb shop, I won’t post a link as I believe that might be against the rules?
