And I thought it was a different spelling for a hit off the bong
Oh, no disappointment at all. TFTSP was one of the most gloriously bad moves of all time, and I don't know many folks who remember it. I thought I might have found a cohort. I guess we'll have to talk about guitar stuff, instead!
This thread caused me to think.....
Why don't I like hats?
8 years racing*, practicing, uhhHHHH....
7 years riding aimless(200,000) miles...
Half a dozen brands of crash hats.....
*On average 35 weeks a year
At least in NorCal they are called "beanies"...
If you have thinning hair, which most guys do at some point, it’s a good idea to wear a hat outside in the warmer seasons to avoid getting skin cancer.
because of this dude.
Wait. I thought toque was a fancy way of spelling what you did to a doobie?
My crash helmet?
I sure hope not.
Wearing hats indoors is just wrong... unless it's necessary*.
I always take my hat off when going indoors or when meeting folk. Just how I was brought up.
*necessary can be for any reason. It could even be that you feel you need the hat to be cool. Don;t be fooled though, you still look stupid wearing a hat indoors.
I used to wear them -- we called them "beanies" -- as a youngster in SoCal. It wasn't for the weather.
A "toque" is specifically the kind with the ear flaps, no?
Hot summer sun beating down on the noggin = headache.
Some dudes prefer fashion over function. I like function first, fashion second. The fashion part is important, but not important enough to wear a thick winter pull-down beanie in summer. It always kills me when it’s 100 degrees here and I see a guy with a thick winter hat pulled down over his ears. I’d be sweating buckets!
I have long hair. I ride a motorcycle. When I don't wear a hat my hair ties itself in knots. And that sucks so I wear a hat.
I blame Billy F. Gibbons!
These guys make nice hats.
I have worn baseball caps before on occasion, but today for the first time I wore my Panama hat in the street because I was getting sunburned. It took some getting used to, as I was self conscious about going out in public like that.
I can't believe it, five pages and no sign of our resident fedora master @Bazz Jass
I see a lot of responses about hats, such as baseball caps, cowboy hats, etc but I was really wondering about those that wear a wool pull over your ears thing when it's 90 out. that's something I would wear in winter.
to me a beanie is a little yarmulke with a propeller on top, but when I googled it sure enough it's what is often referred to as a toque in Quebec anyway.
I guess I'm just not a fashion horse
That is a very cute dog Slacker G!
Me too. They are gr8
