I just found that out yesterday. I had no idea there was already a Danocaster. Sucks, I'll have to come up with a different name. This time I'll google it first.

I wonder if he has it copywrited or trademarked or whatever it is. If so, be careful and maybe pull the image of your guitar’s headstock? I don’t know how sticky things are around here.

I don't think he's going to sue me, clearly was an honest mistake. Seems like his guitars are Fender types, doubt anyone would think this is one of his. That said, It will be coming off, I'll come up with something else or leave it blank.

    Stranger things have happened.
Blank is a good clean look that appeals to me.

And Bealzebub is our winner. Everyone submitted a nice idea, honestly. Almost all were based on a decal. O.K., but Bealzebub picked up on the fact that it was going to be a "blues guitar" and suggested notation for blues notes/chords. I'm not going with the (decal) because the neck is a '57 replica with tinted nitro sprayed on. Checked with some artist buddies that thought it would be a mistake to sand it down a hair so the decal would stick, then spray nitro over it. Another had a great idea. He has a small 3 axis cnc that is perfect for projects such as engraving in plastic, wood, etc. I'm going to have the chords or notes cnc'd in, and then filled with gold leaf. Since "B" picked up on the blues thing, I have to go with him. Thanks for playing.

Any sign shop can print you a vinyl transfer sticker which can be finished over like a decal. I had some made in the Fender font that say “Tele-no-Lie” which is the logo I use on my partscasters. My custom guitars get a Pearl logo inlaid, but my partscasters get the sticker.
