I played through a IIB 60/100w combo for decades. Loved it. The weight started to get to me towards the end (when I sold it).

Are you saying you haven’t been using the amp and cab sims up to this point?

I use a VST standalone (THU overloud) mostly. I like it a lot, but the Helix line is REALLY good.

some amps dont do well with the helix in front.
for instance, i have a few patches that are effects only, pretty much a copy of my regular pedal board.
through the dsl 20, certain effects sounded muddy and crappy....
but through the 65 drri, they sound great.
it may have something to do with one amp having a master volume and effects loop whereas the other doesnt.

Never Compared them But the Stock Helix Cab Once Properly matched and Tweak are Great, but Beware the IR Rabbit Hole :)

Nowadays modelers are the biz....especially those that you can load third party quality IRs into...

Yep...IRs are dangerous fun. I get discouraged when they come with 10 million mic placements, but when you hit "the one" oh man.
The PowerCab has a couple of great speaker sims as well. Matched up to the Park 75 is a winner.
