AHH, Tanks guys...
Welcome aboard. Strat-Talk is a great place to hang out.
Hi! from Canada, where it will be snowing sooner than i would like.
Do you play guitar, do you have any? If so I understand that posting pictures is a requirement of full membership here
I do have a couple.
I will get some pics soon, promise.
I have a G&L Legacy from 1992 and a Seagull acoustic probably from around the 90s also.
I also have a Frankenstein J bass in pieces. Oh and an old Harmony steel slide from I think the 70s.
My amp is a Vox 10 watt tube and tubes have been replaced with better ones. At this point in time I am generalizing but will post pics and have stats at a later date. I try to play but I haven't made any progress yet. I know I know. I will get better.
Ok so I guess I’m in ANE ;P
Almost got rain the other night. Was enough to make my truck way more dirtier than it was. Lol
You must be on the eastside of the mountains? you get no rain there?
Yep, I transplanted here 33 years ago and just never left. I got here just as the Grunge Scene was taking off...Oh what a ride. The weather here is delightful other than the water that falls from the sky. Im from New England so the winters here are mild to me.
The 3 day heatwave last month made me realize im not moving anywhere hot anytime soon.
Welcome aboard! FYI it’s raining here in SoCal if you can believe that. And by raining I mean it was 98 here today with 33% humidity.
Nope...west side, 200 miles south of Seattle. In what some from the Emerald City refer to as "the butt crack of the PNW"... Portland.
And we are in serious need of substantial rain. I have never seen it so dry in all of my 67 years here.
Sorry if 'm jacking the thread but this talk of rain got me thinking what my grandad once told me; dry summer=wet winter, everything equals out.
Of course given the current state of affairs, that that is likely all out the window now.
We have had some nice rainfall over the last 2 weeks and are expecting more off and on this week.
Here's hoping you guys down south will get some too.
BTW we call our area the Lower Mainland, just because.....
Greetings from Bot-Hell! Good to see ya....you'll like it here.
