Hey all. I know there's a lot of us to keep track of but I've grown very fond of coming here everyday and just discussing all things guitar. Many of you I see frequently giving me advice on my topics and even assisted when I was building my first custom strat. It has since been completed however while I'm not sure what exactly is going on I've been very sick since February and no doctor has been able to give an accurate diagnosis or provide any relief from symptoms. I've been assured its nothing life threatening but it has been life changing. I stay inside all day I am physically too weak to work and overall this has caused a massive depression because at this point doctors are telling me its "all in my head" To make a long story short the crew at Anderton's via Youtube every day they provide me one glimmer of joy and I'd like to personally contact Lee, Rob and Pete but I can find no email address for the store at the very least. I live in the U.S. so a phonecall to the UK well ... I want to reach them personally somehow someway. Lee Anderton has a Twitter account but his last tweet was in 2017! So I doubt he checks it. If any of you could find it in your hearts to try to help reach the team well it would mean a lot even if we don't succeed. I'm going to lay back in bed because it takes so much energy to do the smallest things and vomiting also isnt fun.

Sorry to hear that you’re not feeling well. If you’re doctor is really telling you that “it’s all in your head”, you need to find a real doctor! :thumbd: Keep well.:D

Sorry to hear about your situation. I hope it clears up soon. It doesn't matter if it's in your head or if it's something else, as long as you're suffering from physical symptoms. But, I'm glad you found something that keeps you going.

From my own experience, I can tell you that Lee is pretty approachable and responds often to Facebook messages. You can get in touch with him here: https://www.facebook.com/CaptainAnderton/

Try messaging one of them on Instagram. They're all human, but I'm sure they get so many messages a day its difficult to read all of them.

I hope that you will be able to figure out what is going on so you can get on the road to recovery.
It's such a disgusting cop out when doctors talk that, "All in your head" nonsense.

Sorry to hear things aren't good. Maybe my story will cheer you up - quite some years ago (15?) I went to the doctor with a problem. His answer was basically that it was part of getting older and he couldn't help. A few months later I read about it on the internet, and after a small change in diet, it's not as bad as it was. It might not work for everything, but I really wish I'd known about it 50 years ago!

I was at Anderton's on Saturday and I can tell you it's hellish busy! I've been there a few times and never seen Lee actually in the shop, so don't be too hung up on contacting him - I'm sure he has a lot on his plate.

On a personal note, you are showing all the common symptoms of depression/anxiety, and while you may think the doctor is fobbing you off, I would suggest you seek help from a mental health professional. There are lots of options for treatment, and if you catch it early enough the prognosis is excellent. It may not be a physical ailment, but it can be even more debilitating. Don't be afraid to admit you need help.

Have you looked into Lyme? Your story reads exactly like what happened with my wife. Back and forth to the doctor, the ER. Told it was all in her head. wasn’t until my kid was hospitalized and she tested positive for Lyme that I suggested she (my wife) make an appt for herself at the Lyme specialist we took my daughter to that she finally got on the right path. She tested positive and the treatment gave her her life back. I tested positive as well but nowhere near what my wife went through.

Not offering a diagnosis just suggesting it’s worth looking into if you’re getting no answers.

There’s a lot of controversy surrounding Lyme.
