there’s a local guy selling a N series Squier strat for $120. Is a N series serial Japan? And does anyone know when the serial is dated? Is $120 a decent price and how is the quality of these if so? Thanks so much!
Could be Japan, but more than likely it's USA made as they made Squiers there in small numbers in 1989/90...... N9 was used for 1990 incorrectly on some Fender/Squier products in the USA before they corrected it to N0 - N9 was supposed to be for 1999 Strats.....but this is a 1990 for sure.... If it's a USA Squier it's worth about $250-300 US
