Please help me identify this strat. I looked up the serial and it's American made in 1989-90 but I'm not sure which model. Thanks for all the help IMG_20211007_205537.jpg IMG_20211007_205532.jpg IMG_20211007_205541.jpg

Everything looks about right to me, but don't take it just from me I'm not a certified Strat authenticator. Serial number adds up so I would say yes its legit

It's a Strat Plus or a Strat Plus Deluxe.

I can't make out the color(s) of the "Fender Lace Sensor" logos on the pickups - if all 3 logos are gold colored then it is a Strat Plus; if they are other colors then it's a Strat Plus Deluxe. The earliest Strat Plus Deluxes has Lace Sensors with silver logos in the neck and middle positions and one with a blue logo in the bridge position; those didn't last long and the set changed to a blue logo for the neck position, silver logo for the middle position, and red logo for the bridge position.

Strat Plus or Strat Plus Deluxe, beautiful Strat and everything looks Original except the switch tip may have been changed as it should have faded a bit over its 32 years, Plus's are my favourite Strat of all time.

I've never seen a Strat Plus in natural body finish. That's my ONLY question on this. I'd look at neck pockets and under the hood.

Yes, it's a rare finish, but both Strat Plus and Deluxe Strat Plus were available in Natural finish in 1989. If pickups were not replaced, a close look to the pickup color is the only way which model it is.

I have an 89 American Standard and have had another 89. Both had 2 string trees. But maybe strat plus did not?

Fenders with the factory-installed roller nuts don't have string trees.

If you are thinking about buying it, buy it now. I have one exactly like it.

Thanks for your help. I bought it from a friend thanks to you. I knew it was nice but I wanted to make sure it wasn't something super unique so I didn't rip him off.

Bought. I hate to admit that it's more fun to play than my SG! I might be a fender guy now.
