I know nothing about budget guitars, because I'm really cool and kinda a big deal, much like Ron Burgundy. My buddy just collected these off a job site for free, and left then for me to work on.

What are they worth? What's that bass?

    they're not worth much, really.

Yeah the affinity I know goes for 300 Can new. Feels not horrible tbh. But I can't find any price on that bass at all though. Probably 300 Can as well.

Ibanez basses retail new in the 179-999 range, lots of different models. My best guess is it was 200 new and would sell in the $100 ballpark if you put new strings on it.

I had a bass with tuners that look just like that, they were very sloppy and would not fit medium strings. Bass strings are expensive, measure first!

Check the back of the headstock on the bass. It may have the model number on there.

Both can be good instruments to play and neither will sell for much.

I play those kind of instruments regularly. Squiers especially.

I have from that range up to cool old midrange stuff, nothing expensive. I play used cheap guitars a lot. I write, record, release some stuff and play occasional gigs. No one has pointed and laughed so far.

So it's actually 359 Canadian. Kind of a cool score for my friend.

Quite possibly the Ibanez SDGR is a SR300. One listed on Reverb for $ 269 & $ 89 S&H. Let's just say $ 350-375 if listed & sold locally ? More photos would confirm the dual skunk stripes.

More than your buddy paid for them. Fix them up and see how they play.

I hate to be an a-hole but did Your Google stop working? We'd have to Google just like you. One is a Squier. One is an Ibanez Sound Gear bass. They say so right on the headstocks. I mean, you can obviously read. So, why not read the headstocks, jump on Google, and search for those names? It's the EXACT SAME THING WE HAVE TO DO. We're just doing it for you for some reason.

Why? That's what Im wondering. Help yourself, man. You could have Googled that stuff just like we did. It's just as simple for you as it is for any of us. So why didn't you? You can't tell me you don't know how to internet. You found this place. Sooooo???

Big deal or not, I know you know how to search the internet.

Actually I googled them both and found some basic info but nothing exact. I couldn't find the bass on the Ibanez site either. For some reason I didn't think there would be a model number on the back. I just got it in my head that the bass was so cheap it wouldn't even have a model number or serial number. I also thought it would be fun to see if others owned the models.

Sorry for getting you so wound up, Wound Up. Perhaps I could make it up to you? Maybe I could pay for a month of meds?

That's a quick $ 400-500 worth in 2 instruments if they are in working condition.
