Here's a downloadable version if anyone is interested. I may give this a try later.

Ugh. Why did you do this? I go on Robben Ford binges too and have aspired (to myself) to play along with tracks/learn some of his styling but never have. Maybe this will get me going. thanks for posting it...I think

I've always liked jamming along with the Clapton/King version. Fords is great, but a stretch for my meager skills.

EDIT: Ah what the heck.. Listened to the track a couple times and think maybe I can come up with 'something'. No guarantees on quality though. :)

I would not, even on my best day, presume to jam to one of Robben's tracks. I'm not worthy.

Track is growing on me.. Rearranged it some so that it fits the song a bit better than just a long massive jam and recorded (pooped) a vocal track for it. Still haven't done much on the guitars just yet, but I'm def feeling it.

This was from Talk To Your Daughter. My friend Scott produced that record. This is a song he picked for Robben to record. I like the B.B. version with the horn section.

I have a poop ton of Robben Ford songs on my iTunes and have listened to this song many times. Kinda has that "Billy Jean" feel. :thumb: It has been downloaded, but I've downloaded several backing tracks from here, and TDPRI as well, and have yet to put them to use. I'm such a slacker. :(

I tried and failed. The resulting recording will NEVER. Be. Heard. Again.

JustinGuitar has a good lesson, but the tone makes my ears bleed.

This guy has gorgeous tone but my french is as solid as my Robben Ford playing.

Going to keep plugging away till the rest of my hair is gray anyway. :)

My Poor Showing. It's the Three C's: Clammy, Cautious, and ultimately crappy.

Just downloaded and went for it. Should have spent a few minutes on it but decided to take a swing. LOL
