    Oh its bad. LOL

If I'd spent some time it'd be better. There's one or two good ideas there. The rest is Top Ramen. Noodle-fest.

Not sure if anyone will want to use this but I thought I'd offer it anyway. I modified the track with a count in and added a vocal track with a fade at the end. My own playing with it tells me this is challenging enough without having to work up 4+ minutes of usable solo, so maybe this will help some people work out some good ideas without having to drop in a bunch of filler.

So feel free to download and play with it if you wish, if not, it's all good. :)

EDIT: Oops.. I accidentally left in at the very beginning a little fill I forgot to turn off.. but its only a sec or two so.

I'm unfamiliar with the source track, and make no attempt to do justice to Ford here. I just wanted to join in the jam, so apologies :)

Thanks for showing us how to jump in! I liked it a lot. You made it completely your own. You had a melodic theme and developed it.

Mine is more likely to be all over the place but, Im taking your advice and going over it until I feel somewhat comfortable. My wing it is not the same quality as yours.

Going to drop this here: I recorded this in 2002 or 2003. Back then digital cameras could only record 30 seconds!

I’ll try and record a new take, see how it compares 18 years later...

Normally, i'm not one for the vocal thing, but it's nice to be able to sit in with a friend, even remotely!

i did the best i could to complement your excellent singing with my single take.
And speaking of 'takes', i just had to work in a little quote at the end there, LOL.

Glad someone found a use for it, I hope you enjoyed doing it. :)
Coming up with even two moderately short solos for this is challenging, let alone 4+ minutes. Of course it could be that I'm just lazy, which is probably accurate too. :)

Well I just recorded this about an hour ago and uploaded to YT. It sure is a fun tune to play. I don't record myself often like I should. Here's a go at it with me Rhinestone Strat geetar.:)

Well, Fezz shamed me into it. Here's my take, complete with one massive clam and a goofball quote. Three choruses, and a fade out. This is one take, after doing about ten of them.
