Hi, I'm new. Should I christen it as "StereoMaster" or "DoubleAgent"?

What's this StereoMaster/DoubleAgent you ask? I'll get there in a moment.

I've been playing on and off for a while, and making a few project guitars. I have forever been one of those unregisteres lurkers of guitar forums, but finally felt like signing up today. I don't know why.

Anyways, here is one of my projects: I'm debating whether to call it "StereoMaster" or "DoubleAgent". It’s got 2 output channels.
    * 2 pickups in the white channel with a 3 position switch, and tone and volume leading to a chrome jack. The white pickups cover the top 3 strings.
    * The black pickups, switch and pots lead to black jack. That covers the bottom 3 strings.
    * A red push button joins the two circuits so that it behaves somewhat like a normal guitar.
    * The idea was that this would let me play strange rhythms with different delay settings on the chrome and black jacks.

It was a Made in China Affinity Squier, before I began these superpowers experiments. I fear the purists may be offended, but perhaps I'll get some opinions / feedback? Its been a weird year. I'm also painting the headstock black, with a custom decals when its all done.

Also realized I didn't introduce myself well. Forgive me!
I am in the Bay Area, CA. Used to be in MA earlier. Used to be a songwriter, but somewhere in the last few years the spirit left me. It feels like its coming back :) I'm fooling around with a bunch of synths and Ableton on the side. Busy day job, and I dont gig. I'm hoping to get better at finishing my music, and put stuff out. Really want to "earn" an American Strat for myself someday.

Ya know, I always wanted a guitar with additional pickups only on the low E and A string and a separate output for those pickups. Use and octave divider and you could punch up the low and and fake having a bass player while playing the guitar.

Welcome, interesting project. Post another pic after you put strings on it because it’s messing with my head, but that’s partly the point right?;)

Also, thanks all for the warm welcome, and some really great name suggestions! I will share more when she’s ready. But perhaps that should be a it’s own thread in the “modded” section?

    Oh..... that is different!
I hope it works to your satisfaction. There's all sorts of possibilities there with delays, different kinds of overdrives, octave pedals, etc. I suppose there might be some cross over between the channels around the D and G strings.

Edit... posting a thread in a more technical part of the forums might indeed make sense. Please post a link here, if you do, so that we dont miss it.
