So today is the day! I will be getting my new Jackson RRX24M. I gotta say that I really like these X Series guitars that Jaxkson are producing but I have one problem with this one right now.
It's not here. I even woke up early just like on Christmas but...no new pointy guitar in my house. What did I do wrong here?
Maybe if I get some coffee first it will materialize before mine eyes?
What's even worse...the FEDEX app will not let me track the truck like the UPS app will. So I can't chase the driver down and "help him do his job." Ahhhh!
Who am I kidding anyway, I would probably just be sitting here staring at my phone like a peeping Tom instead of out the window where I plan to be parking Mrs. Believer's office chair after commendeering it.
Things to do for the day:
    1. Get coffee then move coffee maker to living room.
    2. Steal wife's office chair
    3. Firmly plant myself in said chair by front door while sipping coffee.
    4. Wait until either FEDEX man shows up or dog needs to be at Vet for annual appointment. (Whichever comes first)
5a. If vet appt comes first, tie Mrs. to the house with long enough chain to reach package...hey, she still has her comfy chair and a TV. HAHA. Plus, I wont be gone that long and will return as quickly as humanly possible with the key to the chain lock.
5b. If guitar arrives first, force Mrs. to take dog to the vet by herself whilst I plug in and disturb the neighbors.

I mean, come on man, a man must have his priorities straight! RIGHT!?

I like your plan, make sure you use a strong chain! Don't forget the cell phone either...

All jokes aside, that's a wicked axe you got coming. Really digging the new stuff from Jackson, X-series lineup is killer! More pointy stuff, more flashy colors, less matte-black superstrats!

Ah yes! Good thinking! I must get the phone too so calls for help can't be heard. Lol

I really do like the X-Series. I already have an RRXMG from 6 years ago that is a fantastic player. Funny thing is that it came with EMG 81/85 p'ups in it. I don't like the 81 so I decided to try the SD AHB-1 Blackouts that everyone was raving about and didn't find much difference between the two but left them in it. This one comes with the Blackouts and I will be installing an EMG 85/60 set.

After getting back from taking the dog to the vet and still no package. We started watching Back to the Future and about 1/2 way through I made a bag of popcorn and noticed a box on the front porch in the camera monitor. I almost let tge popcorn burn to run outside and grab it up.
The nice thing is the weather is perfect for an unboxing ceremony. No difference in temperature from outside to inside.

And it's a perfect fit in the custom Coffin Case.

I really thought about getting a King V a while back but there is just something about the RR that I can't refuse. This is my 4th RR over the years. Only have pics of three though.

This thing plays as nice as any I have played. For a lower priced axe it is really really nice! Every bit as good as it looks.
@Ebidis you guessed it in my game thread so here it is.
