Finally broke down and got me a Keeley Compressor Plus to replace my Boss CS-3. Not that I didn't like the CS-3, but it was a tad too squishy for my tastes. This new Keeley is THE bomb. It lives up to the hype. Right now I'm using it on my Gator board with my new MD-500. I can get squishy with it if needed, but I can also dial it in for some great sustain. I can't recommend this enough.

I just got one too ! 90 € shipped in France, a bargain.

After trying a lot of compressors, I like this one for its vintage/classic sound but with blending abilities. Really easy to set things just right.

No doubt. I couldn't believe how quick and easy it was to dial in. Normally compression pedals force me to spend a good chunk of time looking for the sweet spot. Not so with this one.

HNPD!! Sounds pretty versitile. I’m using the SP Compressor by Xotic, wonder how this compares.

If classic compression is what you're looking for, look no further. It's well worth every single penny.

I did just get the new EHX Platform to hopefully replace both my TS 9 and CS3 on my 20 watt Blackstar, have both on my other amp too but the EHX went on that board and has stayed there instead

It sounds to me that the tone pot works like it adds brightness and stays flat when at 0. It's not supposed to work like that and should be flat at noon, I think. But I use it at 0 and, sure enough, it doesn't sounds dark/treble cut, noon is way brighter than flat.

Did you notice that too @Raiders757 ?

I'm sorry you fell for the hype bro. Maybe next time you will show some individuality and quit being such a sheep.

    Just pullin' your chain! :D

BTW, it seems like your trying to corner the world market on pedals. How's that going for ya? :D

I bought a Keeley GC-2 limiting amplifier (compressor) used for a great price. Def a cleaner less pumping sounding compressor use. I too, had the Boss which works well until you add too much and it gets squishy and does affect tone some.

In my little set of instructions it says the Tone pot is supposed to add brightness the more you turn it up ( From the manual: Adjusts brightness of output. Turn right for bright).

Indeed I am. I must have them all. :D
