How do You like player strats?

I am aiming for my first Fender Stratocaster since i have only owned two Squier Strats. I am looking for comfortable and good looking strat that will put smile one me. I have owned bullet strat and at the moment Squier CV 70 Strat. I do like these strats, althought i do search for some higher quality. How do you guys like your Fender Player Strats or Vintera strats? I do aim for Player Strat or Vintera Strar

The Classic vibes are great guitars. I don’t see the MIM line as a big upgrade. Unless you want a two point trem (I much prefer the six screw version) I don’t see any real advantage to the MIM models over the classic vibe. If it were me I’d save a bit more and get a MIA model.

Your CV is every bit as good as the player strat if not better but it’s a personal choice.

I like it a lot, but I prefer my classic player 50s.

Had I played a friends' Player guitar before I bought my recent Strat, I might have gone that way.

    Now what’s that gorgeous finish?

As for CV 70s vs Player, the only difference you‘ll ever really notice when you close your eyes is the neck finish, which is satin on the Player.

You won‘t notice a huge increase in quality between the two, today’s Squiers are as gig-ready as they come.

The Classic Vibe is better value for money. If I was going to spend more money than that on a Strat, I wouldn't be buying a Fender.

I had a player strat. It was pretty good. But I liked my Vintera 70’s a lot better as it’s so close to my first strat I got used in 1983 and sounds just as good and plays like my 1979 strat.

I own a Player series and a Vintera 60s and love them...Fender Mexico is making such nice stuff these days.I own USA reissues and these guitars hold up just as nicely to them. Here is proof I own them both:

I own player tele and compared to cv 5o i find it a bit better. Also Mim offers a lot more colors . Pickups are more Modern and have higher Output, better tuning stability , better materiał and parts like bridge or wood

I agree absolutely with all of the above.. ^^^^ there's quite a bit of experience talking there.. :thumb:

Sorry, but I absolutely disagree with you on every point re the comparison with the CV. Personal choice of course, but you did ask. By the way I own both American, Japanese Tokai and Chinese CV's, and my only advice is... don't be taken in by decals on the headstock.. So many are..

Good luck with whatever guitar you choose anyway.. :thumb:

I like my Player very much. I’m just a mediocre player, and I do not have much experience with other Fenders, so take that into consideration. But I did trade my MIA strat for the Player...it was all about the neck.

Honestly CV50 is much better for Blues rock while Player tele is better for hard rock and metal. I love both but ya known mate, different Use. My CV 50s Tele is way to go for a jam session ;)

Loved mine before the pickup swap and still love it now.

If you pick a good one you can't go wrong for the money.

I wish there was Dark Red like CAR or Candy Cola Red Player strat for 2020. I would totally go for such a Red lovely Strat
