Don’t know what it says about my mate’s playing. Stood his Squire Strat against the wall to answer the door and his ten-week old puppy cocked his leg up it!
I don't have a dog but our cat Ziggy makes a dash for the door when I play. I like to think it's the volume she doesn't like rather than the quality of my playing
Well, several years ago my wife came into my studio and asked me when I was going to be done playing because the dog wouldn't stop crying while I was playing. Now we have two dogs that both get upset when I play. But it's because they aren't getting the attention. Ahh the joys of having spoiled lap dogs.
Yeah, mine likes to come into the room, sit down on the rug, and just watch. Even when I play with someone else too. Maybe she's interested in what I'm actually doing?
She'll usually just come over, check things out for a minute, then go lay down on the couch and sleep. I'd like to think she's listening but I'm pretty sure she just wants to be around someone.
Fafik wedges his head under my left arm and sleeps like that preventing me from reaching higher registers.
My best girl Ruby Tuesday. Now she's 10 years old and getting a little tremor in the back end, though still her amazing active happy self. She wanders the property as she pleases, both the fields and the woods, but never chases the deer. She's always back by 6PM for her supper. She saw me and the kids through the loss of my wife 4 years ago today. A blessing to our family.
My Dog dont care at all for music whether Im playing or just listening , my Cat on the other hand enjoys certain music and usually plops down on my desk when im playing, think shes my number 1 fan
Mine love when my students come over. And they've learned how to stay quiet and occupied for an hour. Good pups.
Mr. Joe the Man Cat also settles in to listen. A lot of the time he reclines on the desk as I play. Lately, he seems to be trying to figure out the whole "electric guitar" thing. He keeps swiveling his ears/eys back and forth between the guitar a few inches from him where I am picking, and the amp a few feet away. I showed him the cable to try and help him out.
My 15-year-old Shih Tzu mix can’t hear very well these days, but she can still hear enough to know when my amp is turned up and it’s time to leave the room.
