How easy is it to change a regular truss rod nut to a Bullet type?

    It would depend on the dimensions of the two nuts and the internals of the neck.

    Thinking about it, the nut dimensions are about the same, but where the nut comes into contact with the body to exert pressure is much further inside with a standard nut. The bullet would finish up hidden inside, if it worked at all.

    what you normally see on the typical headstock access truss rod, with the hole.

    Thanks! If anything, I would have considered trying it on a cheap squier neck, wouldn't risk it on a more expensive neck.
