Yours is probably more accurate but the wrist one is pretty good . I struggled a while with the bp medicine getting dosage right ..they had me taking way too much and I could hArdly get off the couch ...... Doing better with it now .

i take low dose BP meds - dont' have a monitor. Had a small heart attack last year, so go to Dr quarterly - my BP, as of yesterday, was 125/75. LDL is 1.0, HDL 1.3, total cholesterol 2.5 - according to the doc, absolutely bang on the mark. She is super impressed with the changes made to lifestlye - vegan (was vegetarian before anyway), lost 15kg, walk every day, training twce a week, drink only at weekends - the plan is to come off ALL meds in a year (apart from aspirin which will be for life).

Maybe it’s just that I live in a socialist country with basically free healthcare but to me anything over 120/80 is “make a change in what you’re doing”

Free healthcare here too - advice in Aus is age related, for instance 130/85 for a 45 year old is in range. However, I'm keen to get mine down as low as i can.

Yep. I'm basically pretty healthy, except for the dang bp. And I'm on meds too.:(. Lisinopril/hctz. If I behave and exercise and get reasonable sleep it's pretty good.

As in the heart issue, or the veganism and trying to get all your numbers down?

May I ask you a question? If you don't want to answer its ok. My blood pressure is pretty high and I don't have health insurance. If I go to a free clinic would they give me a prescription for it. I don't have money for a bunch of tests.
