    2 Strats

I've got 2 US Fender Strats, a black 79 and a black 2001 with EMG pups--love em both. Trying to find a reasonable deal on ebay on a US Fender Tele (rare) and a G & L Tele (even rarer).
I don't play with anybody else so I'm a little out of touch, but what's the deal with these "relics"? They look like pieces of sh_t to me that some 17-yr old trashed--what am I missing? No offense to you 17-yr olds, but yeah, I'm an old fart, and anything I spend upwards of 500 bucks on I'm durn sure take care of!
By the way, Strat-Talk guys, how bout a smiley face with glasses and gray hair?

    8+2=10

I own a 2001 Fender Squier Strat that was Crafted in Indonesia. It is candy apple red with a maple neck and fretboard. I will put it up for sale once my 2002 Made in USA Fender Strat arrives. I also own a Fender Squier Bullet that was also Crafted in Indonesia. It is dark blue with a rebel flag pickguard, a maple neck, and a rosewood fretboard. This one is not for sale. Both guitars are all stock but I plan on having my Bullet modified in the near future.

I think the total count as of this point of time is 69!!!

Yes, this fun little number seems to be where things are at.

    Care to add any more?

I am sure that a forum called "Strat-Talk" has a few more Strats kicking around than this.

    Cheers,

    Bob

One other, in the main forum, under "Strat quiz" thread... EDIT: The quiz is over, this one is a 2001 American Series Texas Special with a custom-made neck and custom handwound bridge pup.

    78 + 2 =80

    Jyrki

PS: I have two other Strat-style guitars, with different body shape, so I won't count those in.
