To be honest. Any guitar is worth exactly what a potential buyer is willing to pay for it - at the time it´s announced. Nothing more, nothing less.
Well, work gets in the way sometimes. I had to leave for work and when I got back several hours later and contacted the seller, it was gone. From the responses above, it would have been a really good price for it too. Maybe that's why it went pretty quickly. Anyway, besides playing them, the hunt is a big part of the fun. So it continues. . .
They raised a lot in the last year. Over here in Canada, I see often and usually American Strats and teles selling for avg, $1200 to $1600 CND. It means about $950 to $1250 USD.
