Like we always do, fire up the AC and make another pitcher of Margaritas. Georgia is hot this time of year. Although we've actually had enough rain to keep the lawns, hostas and crepe myrtle happy.

We were unseasonably cold all through spring, wasn't into the summer riding kit until late May. It's hot now though. Life's good.

Nice and cool yesterday, we kept the AC off and the house open all day. Thunderstorms last night, it's good to listen to the rain. Right now it's nicer than it's been in weeks. 75F, humidity 90%. It's only supposed to get up to 80 later today. Based on the forecast, we may not need to turn on the AC until Wednesday.

used to have a saying when I lived in New England: "I hope summer comes on a weekend this year".

In coastal texas, with massive rain, it’s been a challenge to get the grass cut, it’s going to seed.
Have had two days of sun, but the ground is still soaked.

    skeeters out in mass now!

Mostly cloudy 78 degrees and humid in CT.

Tri-state area under a flash flood watch from 2:00pm today until 10:00am Tues. 1-3 inches of rain likely with a possibility of over 4 inches in some areas. We don’t usually see that much rain over here.

It is normally 100 +. But its not August and September yet.

    Sad.

Even when towns don't die, wildlife and the natural scenery often take the hit.

Oh. Wow. That is terrible. I hope your gear is upstairs. Stay safe. Use your blow up doll as a flotation device or buy an inflatable raft.
