I also had a cheap NGD.

The first guitar I ever bought was a cheap Ibanez super strat for $200. It went back to GC within days. You couldn’t bend at all, horrible grinding on rough frets or the inlays!!!

After having an awful experience with their wah, I said no more Ibanez!!! Never again…

But I’m glad you had a good experience. They pump out some real garbage.

And when I got that guitar, I was using an $80 no brand strat and I used it for 3-4 years, and had it for like 15-20 before I finally broke it for good. So it’s not like I was spoiled!!

But looks like they do put some good budget stuff out I guess.

Congrats. I did a review of the AZES 31 on one of our friends at the Ibanez site’s website Lonephantom.com.

I had an Ivory and a Vermillion and used em for a few months until they came out with a blue one, all SSS. Great guitars.

It's odd, but I have had the opposite experience.

Every Ibanez I have owned over the years was fabulous, and I have been blessed to never encounter one with either fret sprout or rough frets.

Just lucky I guess.

Congrats on your new AZ Essential, revtime.
Great guitar!!

(I don't care for the mint pick guard, but if everything else is great, you got a real nice bargain.)
