Reverb will have it sit for months if it's priced too high, so will ebay......you can also post them here in the Classifieds section......

You should specifically look up ebay sold/completed listings for each exact model you're selling, also look on Reverb's price guide....it will give you an idea....

I like that I didn’t know reverb had a price guide
    Thanks

I saw a George Fullerton USA G&L signature

sitting for four months and the ask was 849

so should the seller sell it for 500?

I just searched on reverb I can't find any G&L signature for 849?? - none currently for sale anyway....only one red one $1,049

One sold on January 5th for $887 on ebay - link below

No it's worth much more than 500

ebay has a function where you can see the guitars like your's and what they really sold for so you can see where to price your stuff in a manner that will be reasonable for you and buy-able for them.

the stuff that sits on reverb and ebay is cuz it is overpriced hoping a sucker will pay that much.

any gear i have sold i never made a fortune on but i never gave it away either. if you write good honest descriptions and show any boo-boos with full disclosure you will attract smart and reasonable buyers and probably sell in a timely manner.

Also remember that eBay takes 10% of your selling price and 10% of the shipping. Reverb is 3% plus I believe .25 cents per transaction. I do a lot of selling on both eBay and Reverb. Offer FREE shipping when you can, even if you have to charge a little more in the price.

I think Recerb took 3.5% when I sold last week. That's 3.5% of the grabd total, sales price and shipping.

Reverb is excellent in my opinion. You do have to pack and ship, if you want to reach buyers who are not local. In my experience it is worth the cost and hassle. Otherwise you might wait a long time for someone local to turn up.

I've been trying to sell a couple for months. A lot of people have asked me about trading. I bought the guitars on Reverb. I probably spent too much $$ on them. Best of luck to you.
